The Dream Continues

Dr. Martin Luther king Jr. was an American clergyman, activist, and prominent leader in the African American civil rights movement. This man was a gift from God and a blessing to our nation. He demolished many racial barriers. He had a dream, and his dream primarily pushed the idea of unity in what was a racist nation. From marches to speeches he did everything he could to make sure a change would come to pass.

AND IT DID!

Now when we walk down the streets it doesn't shake us when we see a biracial couple particularly white and black, in fact it's a common thing. As well as when you walk up to a group of friends now there is a little bit of every race!

Yes we have acted on Martins dream but there is still a lot of work to do, racism is still very real but the path that we're on can only lead to the possibilities of complete change.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said it best:

"And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Free at last! Free at last!

Thank God Almighty, we are free at last"

BLACK HISTORY MONTH TRIBUTE

Its BLACK HISTORY month so throughout this month I want to spotlight the influential African Americans in my life. First up is one my favorite female singers of all time WHITNEY HOUSTON. She has impacted me in more ways than I can describe. Her voice is remarkable, she has phenomenal strength, and her story is even greater! She has been through so much in the public eye and the fact that she made it through and has been able to sing again on stage,is such a blessing to me and i'm sure means everything to her ily forever Whitney Houston

School is back in session

School is back in session!

I was stoked the first week but ever so quickly all of the water in that pool DRAINED! lol The homework started rolling in no longer was I interested in the nostalgic smell of fresh textbooks, i didn't care about going shopping for school supplies...all of my love for school was GONE! lol

It is solely my fault i have the most horrible classes you could hope for! well not so much as horrible just challenging I guess.

Business Law
Psychology 4
Computer business
Business and Financial management

I want to say I didn't sign up for this but CLEARLY lol

The only class that I enjoy is the business law class, teacher is sarcastic class is informative, but the rest are drags to the 5th power lol

Hopefully closer to the middle of the semester things will get better but as of now wish me all the luck in the world I need it lol
